1

Open connector settings

In Claude, open the settings for integrations or custom connectors.

2

Add the Alpha server

Use https://mcp.openantares.com/mcp as the server URL. Name the connection Alpha or Antares Knowledge.

3

Sign in to Alpha

Claude opens the Alpha authorization screen. Sign in with the account whose vault access you want the connector to use.

4

Approve the connection

Review the client name and approve access. Alpha returns you to Claude after issuing a personal access token.

5

Test scope before content

Ask Claude to list the Alpha vaults you can access. Then name one vault and request its brief or recent meetings.

Troubleshooting

Alpha only accepts redirect URIs from approved MCP clients. Use Claude’s built-in connector flow. For the Slack MCP feature, the exact callback is https://oauth2.slack.com/external/auth/callback.

Ask the client to call list_vaults and then pass the exact vault name or ID to the next tool. Do not continue with an inferred client name when several vaults are plausible.

The approving person needs editor or admin permission in the target vault. Reconnecting does not upgrade their Alpha role.
