Product improvements that change how teams connect, understand, and act on their work.

Alpha is moving quickly. These updates explain what changed for users, why it matters, and anything an administrator needs to do.

See how work connects

Alpha’s knowledge graph now feels like a map of the vault instead of a diagram that redraws itself while you inspect it.

  • 3D explores semantic neighborhoods with a smooth spatial camera.
  • 2D flattens the same positions for easier relationship tracing.
  • Clusters groups entities and evidence density by type.
  • Search finds entities by name, type, or vault and focuses the result in place.
  • The graph loads one fresh snapshot when the page opens, so ingestion no longer makes the canvas flicker.

Review routing before the first sync

The final onboarding step now shows exactly what Alpha can import and where it will go.

  • Alpha refuses to start with no connected source or destination vault.
  • Drive presents files and folders in a reviewable table, including Shared Drives.
  • Selecting a folder covers its matching contents and future files added to it.
  • Teams and Slack use exact conversation selection instead of keyword routing.
  • Private Slack channels explain when Alpha must be invited before they can appear.

Open richer artifacts

Reports, briefs, charts, and workbooks now open with the correct file type. Generated work can include readable diagrams, tables, and source-backed recommendations, and artifact links can render richer Slack previews when Work Object Previews are enabled.

Build on the same scoped knowledge

Alpha’s MCP server, REST API, OpenAPI definition, and official TypeScript and Python SDKs now share one reviewed capability catalog. Administration and maintenance operations remain private.

Every API and MCP response also includes a request ID, which gives support and developers a safe way to trace failures without recording secrets or sensitive arguments.

Also improved

  • Members can request access to an existing vault instead of creating a duplicate.
  • Vault admins receive access requests in Alpha and by email, choose the vault role, and can add the requester to more vaults during approval.
  • Requesters are notified when access is approved or rejected.
  • Microsoft connections request the combined permission set, so adding Outlook, Teams, or OneDrive no longer removes another Microsoft service.
  • Slack detects installs that lack channel-join permission and offers a reconnect action.
