Alpha answers from source-backed knowledge inside the vaults you are allowed to use. The scope depends on where the conversation happens.
In a vault chat
A vault chat stays inside that vault. Use it for client work, project decisions, and questions where crossing a boundary would be unsafe.
Good questions include:
- What is blocking the pilot?
- Who owns the carrier credential checklist?
- Which source changed the launch date?
- Show the evidence behind the same-day dispatch target.
In general chat, email, or an MCP client
Alpha can inspect the names and summaries of vaults you can access, select the relevant one, and then run searches within that explicit scope. It can use more than one vault only when your request clearly calls for comparison or combined context.
Name the client or project when you want the fastest, clearest answer. For example: “In Northstar Fulfillment, what changed since last week?”
In Slack
A Slack channel is assigned to a vault. Alpha answers from that channel’s vault and does not silently search another client vault. If you ask about a different vault that you can access, Alpha can explain the boundary and suggest continuing in a private channel, direct message, email, or Alpha chat.
Evidence
Ask Alpha to show its sources when a claim matters. A useful answer should distinguish facts, inferences, unresolved contradictions, and missing evidence.
