Create artifacts

Turn vault knowledge into reports, documents, charts, and workbooks.

Artifacts are durable outputs generated from a vault. They can be opened inside Alpha, downloaded, shared, or linked in Slack.

Available formats

Documents can include headings, tables, and Mermaid diagrams. Workbooks can contain several styled sheets. Charts are rendered as real image files.

Create a useful artifact

Give Alpha the audience, decision, time range, and required evidence. For example:

Create an executive pilot brief for the operations leadership team. Include the current process, a Mermaid flowchart, the six-week KPI trend, unresolved risks, owners, and the source date for every claim.

Open and share

Click an artifact to open it in the context panel. Documents can be edited and exported to DOCX or PDF. Workbooks download as XLSX. Pasting an artifact link into Slack creates a richer preview when Slack Work Object Previews are configured for the Alpha app.

Artifacts inherit the source vault’s sensitivity. Share the link only with people who should receive that client or project context.
