Manage tasks
Turn decisions into owned, dated work without losing the source context.
Tasks live inside a vault and use its task prefix, such as NS-1. Each task can include an owner, priority, due date, estimate, checklist, and evidence link.
Add tasks from a conversation
Ask Alpha to create a task only after the action is clear. A good request names the vault, outcome, owner, and deadline.
In Northstar Fulfillment, create a high-priority task for Priya to complete the carrier credential checklist by September 10.
Keep the board useful
- Use one action per task.
- Record the reason and source in the description.
- Assign a real owner, not a team name.
- Close or update old tasks when new evidence changes the plan.
- Review overdue and unassigned work from the Tasks page.
Creating or changing tasks through the API or MCP requires a credential with editor or admin permission.
